Welcome to Grange-over-Sands
Grange-over-Sands Golf Club is a challenging parkland course situated between the sea of Morecambe Bay and the mountains of the Lake District. Just 14 miles from the market town of Kendal and 3 miles from the picturesque village of Cartmel with its historic Priory it is easily accessible being only 14 miles (or 20 minutes drive) from junction 36 of the M6 motorway.
The course is in superb condition having benefited from recent extensive drainage work and several of the holes having been lengthened and new greens built. With strategic placement of trees, ponds and natural drainage dykes the course offers something for everyone.
Grange-over-Sands Golf Club is a members’ club well known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Members and visitors benefit from a fully catered clubhouse which provides tasty meals and snacks throughout the day. Visitors and societies are all welcome. Both members and visitors benefit from the convenience of an on-line tee booking system which allows convenient times to be reserved.

Open Competitions - May and June 2012
There are still places available for our various Opens to be played in May and June. Tee times can be booked and paid for via the online booking system. For those wanting Opens for later in the year check out "Open Golf Events" on the website.

"Golfathon" to raise funds for the Junior section and Derian House Children
Our intrepid Secretary / Manager, Graeme Whitfield, is embarking on a golf marathon on Thursday 21st June 2012. From sunrise to sunset Graeme will play as many holes as possible. Please support Graeme by sponsoring him generously.
